Low Carb Diet Never Harmed Our Ancestors

The Low carb diet was originally called the “Banting Diet”?- it was named after the founder, and the man who founded the diet plan. This goes back to the early of the 1800s. A very long time ago! If today’s people ignore all the fancy words used today in connection to the current low carb diet, we’ll find that there’s not a lot of differences in the old Banting Diet or meals and the today’s Low carb diet plan. Even back then in the 1800s, Banting still reserved a bit of allowance for some port (old strong sweet wine) to help him wash down his consumed food.

But in our today’s society, the most popular low carb diet plan known to man is the Atkins diet - likewise, named after the Dr Robert Atkins who published it back in the 170s. It became a run away success because of two reason, one, because it was written by a professional medical practitioner, and two – the most important, because of the positive results as proof from the users of the diet program. Several people have lost bucket load of fat using this particular low carb diet plan, even though it has also attract some skepticism from the mainstream medical profession. Some termed it as “envy”!

Let’s look back and employ a bit of logic in this, shall we? For thousands of long years gone by, our ancestors never had agriculture nor the means to cultivate it, but one thing they had, was meat – yeah protein. And they had plenty of it. They however had seasonal fruits to content with when and if it arrived. One may argue that this is the best form of diet ever. Well, the proof is, we’re all here today. This means one thing, our ancestors didn’t do too back on this low carb diet, whislt maintaining a healthy body, even though they didn’t even know it at the time.

The low carb diet enthusiasts will forever continue to ask a regular and becoming common question, which type of low carb diet plan should they embark on, and above all, are there any major differences among various ones out? I bet we’ve all heard of the Atkins Diet. This is believe to be one of the best low carb diet plans to date. With its phenomenon run away success of the Atkins Diet, several other low carb diet plans have hit the stores in order to emulate the success.

Together with the Atkins low carb diet, if you look in the stores, we now have several low carb diet plan out there, this includes the Neanderthin which examines what specific Neanderthal our ancestors would have eaten in their day. I must be very honest with you, this was probably the book that convinced that the low carb diet was, and still is safe to follow. And also most likely the food our bodies’ are designed to eat on a regular basis.

However, I would like to make a simple but important suggestion, whichever low carb diet plan you’ve decided to go with in order to lose the weight permanently, please make sure, you consult with your physicians or medical practitioner to seek their professional opinions. This would apply to all various kinds of diets

Conclusively, low carb diet works and will continue to work, and above all, people will continue to chooe the low carb diet plan in order to lose abundant of weight even when we’re all long gone.
