Low Carb Diet Through The Key Hole
Low carb diet has been known to be responsible for a lot of wonderful and positive things, but do you know that there were some children who had no seizures for two years while on the diet, and they appeared to be cured of the epilepsy even after stopping their low-carb ketogenic diet.
The majority of people do not need an ultra low carb diet, but unfortunately, many people who do go on a low fat diet continue to eat highly processed foods. There a few reasons as to why your baby’s health may be affected by a ‘low-carb’ diet. Many low-carbers don’t even know why they are on a low carb diet, they’re just following the followers (Not intelligent).
Did you also know that combining a high stress life style with a low fat/ high carb diet and weight gain is inevitable. More specifically, the low carb group eliminated pasta, potatoes, rice, and breakfast cereals and instead of ordinary bread, consumed crisp/hard bread (probably similar to the Bran-A-Crisp recommended in the Atkins Diet) that contained 4-8 grams of carbs. But in the context of a low Carb diet, the normal breakdown pathway of fats is altered and an alternative pathway kicks in.
Extremely low carb approaches like Atkins, and even all liquid protein and EFA diets like the Velocity Diet certainly can be effective in losing fat fast.
Low carb diet, also known as the “High Protein Diet” is a weight loss program based on the consumption of high protein and low carb foods, as the term suggests.

It is much easier to restrict calories when you are on a low carb diet, because you won’t feel as hungry as with high-carb diets. The overwhelming popularity of the South Beach Diet, Zone Diet, and Atkins Diet has prompted low-carb weight watchers to eat less candy.
Atkins Diet, as it’s known predominantly for its low-carb stance on weight-loss, the Atkins diet has been making noise in the media for decades. It is so easy to use a low-carb diet as an excuse for poor nutrition. Atkins Diet lowers glucose and insulin (the body’s main energy source) Alternative pathways are turned “on” to provide energy One alternative pathway breaks down fat and produces ketone bodies Ketone bodies represent the state called ketosis.
The brain uses ketone bodies as an alternative source of energy so, the Atkins Diet (and any low Carb diet) produces a low energy state (low glucose) that causes the breakdown fat using an alternative pathway that leads to the development of ketosis. Because of its success, some people are now claiming that the “frenzy over carbohydrates has gotten so out of hand”. Again, for many, a low carb diet is something that is quite beneficial if you you are more creative with your recipes than just substituting meat, egg, and dairy products.
